| Bid-2-Go is, at the moment, a family run website. Created largely out of frustration from high listing and commission charges demanded by other auction sites and the increasing use of software programs to make sure some buyers always get the last second bid. Neither of these will happen on Bid-2-Go. Our goal is to make Bid-2-Go as big as possible, and to improve the site to make it as user friendly as we can. To do this we will need to have some low charges in place, Standard auctions will always be free, but there is small charges for extras. This means we will be able to continue the general running of the site and push to get a bigger and wider membership group. Also, we believe that the bulk of auction sites are not very fair when it comes to bidding. If you've ever been to a real auction you'll know that the auctioneer will continue to take bids until everyone involved has declined the chance to make a higher bid. He doesn't look at his watch, slam the hammer down and say "unlucky". So we don't either, if someone is outbid in the last minute we will add two minutes to the expected finish time, hence, Bid-2-Go. For example, if a bid is placed with the expected end time at 40 seconds, the two minutes will be added at that time, effectively increasing the end time to 2 minutes 40 seconds.
